Team Manager - Supported Accommodation
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £13.90 - £14.40 per hour / £28,912 - £29,952 per annum (including on-call allowance)
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Additional Compensation: £62.64 per sleep-in, £30.00 per on-call night
Required Qualifications:
- Essential: Level 3 or above NVQ/QCF in Childcare
- Driving: Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle (mileage allowance provided)
Role Overview:
The Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing and developing Supported Accommodation services in Sheffield and the East Midlands. This role involves managing a staff team providing support to young people aged 16-21 years transitioning from care to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations including staff rotas and supervision to ensure smooth running of the region.
- Team Leadership: Support and manage a small team of Support Workers, offering guidance and supervision.
- Client Support: Work directly with young people, assisting them in their transition to independence, securing housing, and accessing necessary services.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with young people and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
- Service Quality: Ensure the provision of high-quality services in line with government guidelines.
- Deputy Duties: Support the Regional Manager and deputize in their absence.
