Package Description

Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Location: Ironbridge, Telford, TF8

Salary: £24,336 - £25,755 (£12 - £12.70 per hour)

Plus - £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000-£6,000pa)

Shift patterns - Full time working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)

Full UK Driving licence is preferred but not essential.

As a therapeutic support worker you will:

  • Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
  • Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
  • Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs,

  • Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations

What do you need?

  • We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.

  • Able to share interests with our young people.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
