Pastoral Lead

We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Pastoral Lead
The successful candidate will:
- Working with the school staff team and management, to be an enthusiastic champion of the students, staff, and their achievements, in order to promote the vision, sense of purpose, and pride throughout the school
- To be professional, friendly and respectful towards all colleagues and to address any concerns through proper channels
- To be professional, friendly, fair and firm with students, demonstrating values and core responsibilities
- Working with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to safeguard all students in the school
- Support pupils in a teaching assistant capacity in lessons.
- To be friendly, helpful and welcoming to parents, carers, and other visitors
- Ensure appropriate targeted intervention is applied to students from vulnerable groups, monitoring and evaluating success
- Actively promoting positive behaviour across the school
- Working closely monitoring students with Behaviour Support Plans, Pastoral Support Plans and EHCP’s
- To work with the Senior Leadership Team, SENDCo and other colleagues as appropriate to support students in the school
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Are Passionate champions of students with SEND
- Have minimum, level 3 teaching assistant qualification
- Have at least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment
