We are excited to announce this new opportunity at Keys Group. As our new Executive Headteacher, you will take strategic and operational responsibility for our two schools; North Bridge Enterprise College & South Park Enterprise.
About our school
South Park Enterprise College is an Independent SEMH Specialist School (11-16) offering an alternative curriculum to young people with a range of SEMH special educational needs.
The vast majority of our students have an EHCP and may have a diagnosis of ADHD or ASD. We also take a small number of students from the local authority inclusion service who have been, or are at risk of, being permanently excluded from mainstream settings.
Responsibilities of appointment:
- Under the overall direction, the Executive Headteacher plays a lead role in formulating the aims, objectives of the schools and establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved.
- Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils.
- Work closely with the Education Director to embed a culture of success within the two schools.
- Provide direction and line management of the senior leadership team at both schools.
- Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils including monitoring of progress towards achievement.
- To have a central responsibility for raising the quality of teaching and learning and for pupils’ achievement. Setting high expectations and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of learning outcomes
- Manage safeguarding across the school and take action according to Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Provide curriculum leadership across the schools.
- Lead regular reviews of all school systems to ensure statutory requirements are being met and improved on where appropriate.
- Lead on Ofsted inspections including the independent schools’ standards.
- Manage staff development programmes and school resources.
- Lead on formulating and reviewing the School Development Plan.

More about you
We are looking for an experienced Senior Leader to join our school as an Executive Headteacher. You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values. You will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from the leadership team.
