Children's Support Worker - Waking nights

Location: Pulborough

Salary: From £13.60 per hour wef 1st April 2025*

Hours: 21.30-07.30    4 nights on 4 nights off

We are looking for a resilient and nurturing Children's Support worker to join our family home, caring for our vulnerable young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will ensure their safety and wellbeing during the night time, being a friendly face and spending time to offer support, provide a calming presence and a listening ear. 

Patience and understanding is essential 

What do you need?

  • Previous relevant children's home experience or transferable skills such as SEN schools, mental health, Autism, fostering or young adult care.
  • A real passion and desire to support children in a homely environment
  • A good level of English communication skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
  • Naturally caring, nurturing, flexible and resilient.
  • Full UK drivers licence would be beneficial.
