Part Time Waking Nights Support Worker
Location: Warrington
Hours: 8pm – 8am - Part Time
Salary: £14.55 per hour
We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Waking Nights Support Worker to join our children’s residential home in Warrington, supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
This is a rewarding role where you will provide a calm and safe environment overnight, ensuring the wellbeing of children and offering reassurance during challenging moments. You will also support with personal care where required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive environment throughout the night
- Promote the wellbeing and comfort of young people
- Offer emotional support during difficult situations
- Complete night checks, records, and reports
- Support with personal care where required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in care or transferable skills (e.g. support work, education, police, ex-forces)
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
- Good communication skills (Makaton or BSL desirable)
- Caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Flexibility to work a rolling shift pattern
