Make a Real Difference Where It Matters Most

Ready to step away from the classroom and into something more meaningful?

As we continue to grow and welcome a new cohort of learners, we’re expanding our team of Tutors. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people aged 5–16 who are unable to access mainstream education, helping them re-engage, build confidence, and achieve meaningful progress.

We provide high-quality, personalised 1:1 tuition designed to create measurable, life-changing impact for those who need it most.

About the Role

  • Deliver tailored, one-to-one sessions in English, Maths, and life skills
  • Plan and adapt personalised lessons to suit individual learner needs
  • Build positive, trusting relationships to support engagement and growth
  • Deliver sessions in quiet community settings or students’ homes
  • Work flexibly with scheduling that fits your availability
  • Travel across local areas to deliver sessions

Who We Support

You will work with young people who are:

  • Excluded or at risk of exclusion
  • School refusers
  • Experiencing disruption due to health or home circumstances
  • At risk of entering the criminal justice system

When mainstream education isn’t working, we are.

Requirements

  • QTS or QTLS (due to the requirements of the young people we support)
  • Experience delivering the UK curriculum (particularly secondary/ GCSE)
  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
  • Understanding of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and mental health needs
  • Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH learners
  • Minimum availability of 2 days per week
  • Ability to travel (full UK driving licence, own vehicle with business insurance and breakdown cover)
  • A patient, resilient, and resourceful approach
  • First Aid qualification (desirable)

As part of this role, you will be required to transport young people to and from planned sessions, activities, and appointments. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a suitable vehicle with business-use insurance, and be authorised by their insurer to carry young people as passengers.

Most importantly, you’ll bring warmth, humour, and a genuine belief that every young person deserves success.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working to suit your lifestyle
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications
  • A meaningful role where you can genuinely transform lives
  • The opportunity to build strong, distraction-free relationships with learners

Safeguarding

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to safer recruitment procedures, including references, enhanced DBS checks, and employment verification.
