SEN Teacher – Barnsley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £27,456 - £43,014 | Part Time (16 hours/week)
Purpose of the Role
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Help students with a range of special educational needs
- Teach and support with all Science Lessons
- Help students access Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education and achieve their very best
- Experience teaching through a spiral programme, revisiting concepts and topic areas, each time extending knowledge, deepening understanding and developing skills
- Work alongside relevant internal and external professionals such as psychologists and therapists
Requirement:
- A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
- At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
- QTS/QTLS is a requirement
