Location: Westfield

SALARY: £27,456 - £43,014* (This rate is effective as of 1st April - if you start prior to this date, your salary will be £26,209 - £41,773 and will be automatically uplifted on 1st April

We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a PSHE Teacher

The successful candidate will:

  • Help students with a range of special educational needs
  • Help students access Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education and achieve their very best
  • Experience teaching through a spiral programme, revisiting concepts and topic areas, each time extending knowledge, deepening understanding and developing skills
  • Working alongside relevant internal and external professionals such as psychologists and therapists

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • QTS/QTLS is advantageous

Westfield House School are expanding - We have just had a purpose built £2.5 million school added to our current woodland grounds and are excited to be starting the journey of developing the school and its offer to new pupils.

We will be increasing our school numbers and I am looking for people who want to join my amazing staff team in enhancing the educational experience for more pupils for whom mainstream is not right.
