Salary: £10.90 - £14.00 | Part Time (16 hours/week)

We're looking for passionate Outdoor Education Instructors to join our team, delivering meaningful outdoor experiences for young people across schools and children’s homes. Through long-term engagement, you'll help build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills – making a real impact every day.

Role Details

  • 16 hours per week
  • Based at our Keys sites across the South East of England
  • Some weekend work may be required

Key Responsibilities

  • As an Outdoor Instructor, you will deliver activities that are safe, engaging, and professionally delivered, ensuring participants achieve high-quality learning outcomes
  • Have excellent communication and people skills
  • Be confident leading and managing groups, even in challenging situations
  • Be motivated, positive, and enthusiastic about outdoor learning
  • Ideally have previous experience in a similar role (although attitude and enthusiasm are just as important)
  • An ability to provide weekly written session plans and document progress using set formats

Requirements

  • RCI or CWI or other relevant ropes-based qualification
  • Archery GB Instructor Award
  • Mountain Bike Leader/Instructor or equivalent
  • Paddlesports Instructor/Coach or equivalent
  • RYA Instructor or equivalent
  • DofE Assessor
  • Bushcraft Practitioner
  • ML or HML Award or equivalent
  • RPIOL or equivalent
  • Valid Outdoor First Aid Qualification
  • A full-UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
