About Unity Roots
We provide a tailored, nurturing educational environment across two sites: our main campus in West Wycombe and a satellite base near Aylesbury.
Our small class sizes (typically no more than 3 students per class) and dedicated staff ensure each student receives the support they need. We offer a range of learning spaces, including vocational and outdoor opportunities, to help students overcome barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, teach, and assess humanities subjects up to GCSE level.
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver lessons, support positive behaviour, and create a safe, inclusive environment where students can thrive.
Follow the school’s teaching and learning systems
Assist with report writing, contribute to developing curriculum documents, collect data, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Create engaging and safe classroom environments for students to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Committed and passionate about supporting students with SEND
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
- QTS/QTLS qualification is a plus
