Package Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Headteacher
The successful candidate will:
- Under the overall direction, the Headteacher plays a lead role in formulating the aims, objectives of the schools and establishing the policies through which they are to be achieved
- Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils
- Provide direction and line management of the senior leadership team
- Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils including monitoring of progress towards achievement
- To have a central responsibility for raising the quality of teaching and learning and for pupils’ achievement. Setting high expectations and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of learning outcomes
- Manage safeguarding across the school and act according to Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- Provide curriculum leadership across the school
- Lead regular reviews of all school systems to ensure statutory requirements are being met and improved on where appropriate
- Lead on Ofsted inspections including the independent schools’ standards
- Manage staff development programmes and school resources
- Lead on formulating and reviewing the School Development Plan
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
- At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
- QTS/QTLS is advantageous
