Package Description
Keys Group is launching an accredited Online School designed to support children and young people for whom physical school attendance is not possible. Combining academic excellence with trauma-informed, flexible online delivery, this school will set a new standard in inclusive education.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Headteacher to establish and lead this pioneering provision, shaping its vision, culture, and practice from the outset.
The Role
- Reporting to the Director of Education Services, the Headteacher will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Online School
- Establish a strong, inclusive, and trauma-informed school culture
- Ensure high-quality teaching, curriculum, and assessment
- Lead safeguarding, SEND provision and pupil wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and stakeholders
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- NPQH or equivalent leadership qualification
- Senior leadership experience in a school, special school, or online setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulation, and inspection frameworks
- A clear commitment to inclusive, ethical, and trauma-informed practice
Desirable
- Experience of online education or school start-up
- Knowledge of SEND and therapeutic approaches
