Job Title: Therapeutic support worker wake nights
Salary: From £27,581 per annum PLUS additional £3k - £6k per annum for sleep ins.
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week working a rolling shift pattern

We are looking for Female Residential Support workers to join our specialist 5 bed Children's home and be part of an amazing team, supporting young people to reach their full potential and have positive outcomes, giving them hope for the future.
Willow House is a 5-bedded residential children’s home that is situated in a rural area within the South Downs.
We work with females aged 12-18 who have experienced acute childhood experiences which, in turn, has led to behaviours including high risk of exploitation, missing from home, mental health, self-harm, non-school attendance, substance misuse and diagnosis of EBD, ADHD, FASD, OCD, ODD, ASD and PDA.
We work therapeutically with our young people using a PACE approach in order to build self-esteem and worth, identify appropriate educational provisions, give opportunities to have aspiration and support positive family relationships. We also work with the young people to build healthy attachment; support their understanding of passage to care and promotion of independence as they move into adulthood.
Willow House currently has an outstanding Ofsted rating.
Alongside our therapeutic approach, we also work with Keys Clinical Psychologist and with our Keys Specialist Team of advisors
Working in our home can be intense but extremely rewarding, we have great fun promoting the interests of our young people who enjoy horse riding and equestrian as their favourite pastime.

What does the job involve?

What do you need?

- Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
- Experience in care or transferable skills such as youth work, education, sports or working with vulnerable people is beneficial
- Ability to remain calm during sometimes challenging situations.
- Full UK Driving licence is desired & highly beneficial (due to location of the home)
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children.
