£29,600-£30,800 + additional £3200- £6500 per year for sleep in’s 

08:00- 22:00 39hrs a week 

Working 2 on 4 off shift pattern 

Full UK Driving Licence is required

What you’ll do:

As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Home Manager in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care for children and young people. You’ll be a key leader, role model, and mentor, helping staff grow and ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and empowered.

  • Support the Home Manager with day-to-day operations.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop your team to deliver therapeutic, high-quality care.
  • Be a positive role model for staff and children alike.
  • Manage rotas, budgets, and ensure we meet Ofsted standards.
  • Create a home environment where young people feel safe, supported, and valued.

Requirements

  • 3 + years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Children and Young People 
  • Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas
  • A full UK driving licence
