Job Role: Children's Waking Nights Support Worker 

Location: Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire

Salary: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour / / £26,208 - £26,624* per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week. Full time with various shifts 

Requirement: UK Driving Licence and access to own car

We are looking for Children's Waking Night Support Worker to join our team that have a background in delivering care and support to young people or can bring personal experiences that can resonate with the individuals within our care. 

You'll be an empathetic and understanding role model and mentor working alongside young people, empowering them to:

· Develop individual choice, self-direction and essential life skills

· Live healthy, safe and fulfilled lives

· Find education, training or employment

· Build their self-esteem, confidence and resilience

· Grow their support networks

· Understand their finances and learn budgeting skills

· Develop social skills so they can enjoy their lives to the full

· Understand their rights and entitlements

 You will be part of an experienced team supporting you in your day to day role. We will provide you with all of the training and development to succeed, as well as the opportunity to gain a qualification in Social Care.

As a team, we work flexibly to meet the needs of young people 24/7, 365 days a year and you will be on a rota providing an out of hours on-call service alongside your colleagues so a flexible approach to your role is essential.
