Location: Nottingham
Salary: £14.05 - £14.75 + £3,000 - £6,000 sleep in allowance
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence is required

About The Home:
Our home provides a warm, family-orientated environment for four young people with learning disabilities, including autism, ADHD, developmental delay, neurological disabilities, and visual impairment.
We focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care through therapeutic parenting, helping young people build confidence, communication skills, and independence. Some young people require support with personal care, and full training is provided.
We offer a supportive team environment with regular supervision, a dedicated mentor for new starters, and excellent opportunities for training, qualifications, and career progression.
As a therapeutic support worker you will:
- Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
- Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs.
- Enjoy fun activities and days out such as football, play station, cycling and baking.
- Encourage and share hobbies and interests
- Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
- Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
- Build friendships and trusting relationships
- Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks
- Empower them to make decisions about themselves

What do you need?
- The ability to relate well and share interests, give encouragement and get involved.
- Full UK Driving licence is essential.
- We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient with a keen interest in young people and their lives today.
- Great communication skills, positive and energetic.
- Experience within children's care is highly beneficial.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins.
