Residential Support Worker Children's Homes
Gweithiwr Gofal Plant Preswyl
Location: Cyncoed, Cardiff area
Salary: Starting from £24,336 PLUS additional £3k - £6 per annum for sleep ins (based on 4 - 8 per month.
Shift patterns - Full time working 2 long day shifts plus sleeps then 4 days off
Full UK driving licence is required for this role.

As a therapeutic support worker you will:

What do you need?
- You must be eligible for registration with Social Care Wales.
- Previous experience of working with young people and children.
- We want people who are naturally caring, energetic and enjoy the outdoors.
- Great communication skills, positive and fun.
- Full UK Driving licence is required
- Ability to remain calm and to show resilience
- Ability to relate to our young people and share interests and encourage hobbies.
- You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins .
