Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

 

About our school

Overview of the role of Assistant Headteacher:

  • Joining the Senior Leadership Team to provide outstanding leadership and management of the school.
  • Have a deep and accurate understanding of the school’s strategies for improvement.
  • Attending multi-agency meetings to effectively support our pupils.
  • Providing exemplary pastoral care across the school
  • Oversee teacher development and improvement across the school.
  • Contribute to the mental health and wellbeing of staff and students.
  • Deputise for the Associate Headteacher and Executive Headteacher, when required, and in their absence.
  • Maintain up to date records of teacher standards and implement a suitable CPD programme.
  • Line management of subject teachers.
  • Ensure that assessment information is used to plan appropriate teaching and learning.
  • Support all staff with effective behaviour management.
  • Contribute to the appraisal process and inductions of new staff within the school.
